Blogging and the Absence there of

OK, so like all things this blog was started with the all the best intentions. However, as with many other things life has a way of pushing it to the back burner.  I apologize.  No, actually I don't! Ahhh, the sweet sound of refreshing honesty! In fact, I am proud that I ahve been to busy to post meaningless dribble on here in a pathetic effort to make you think that I am sooooo cool. OK I am, but that is beside the point.  I have been busy talking  to some awesome couples and booking their weddings. Shout outs to my newwest couples Ross and Nicole, Deniz and Sean, Tatyana and George, Dawn and Ryan,   Dani and Chad, Sam and Heath, Danielle and Brian, Sandy and Alex and Shannon and Jay! Mad props to Trinity Video for being the only individual to recognize true writing talent and subscribing to the hard hitting stylings of me!

So what have to missed? First as you can see 2009 is shaping up nicely - keep those inquiries coming - I have a toddler with a serious gap in her grill and it will definately require braces. If you are among those sitting on the fence deciding if I "AM YOUR GUY" I would jump off and call me. Seriously, talk to me, ask me what I am all about and what I can do for you.

I am seriously considering having an annual party for all of my couples. Each year the event would obviously grow with the newly weds mingling with the grizzly veterans with some friendships created along the way. A sort of reunion of everyone once a year. What do y'all think?

So I am going to close with an confession... I probably won't be as good at this as I had hoped, however, I will guarantee this though, when I do post it will be honest and void of sappy offerings.

Peace.

Shannon and Jay

So yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting the engagement session of Shannon, Jay and Mackayla. First, Mackayla deserves a special "Cinderella Princess Award" as she was a CHAMP the entire day! We spent a couple of Hours in Ybor city amid the Super Bowl madness, at some great greek food at Acropolis (seriously, is Pauley Shore a celebrity?) and then took off for Sarasota's Long Boat Key to finish the day.  shannon and Jay, you did a great job and the alley photos ARE hot!!!  Here is one photo to start, I will be editing for the next couple of days so check back often!

Facebook

To all my wonderful clients, family members, and friends:

I would like to take a moment to inform you as well as apologize to you for the fact I will most likely NEVER "enable" an action on Facebook! Call me what you will but I truly have no interest in passing fake drinks, "kidnapping" anyone, growing virtual flowers, raising a cyber pet or finding out what type of mushroom best describes my personality! It isn't you... it's me. Not having any spare time aside.... I just don't get it. Where is the joy in all this?

In lieu of these fictitious happenings, I would strongly encourage you to buy me a REAL drink, Bring me REAL flowers, and or tell me which 80's movie star I really do remind you of (Ferris Bueller.) In fact, I will give YOU a real pet. She is  Boston Terrier name Fiona (not not "Apple" Fiona the ugly princess) and I will buy you a real drink for taking her!

In closing, do not be offended, consider my stance one of strength. One which says "no" to allowing the virtual world smother our existence. I ask you to stand strong and join me in once again in "keeping it real!"

"Change"

Regardless of your political beliefs, after watching the events that transpired today, you must:

1. Be proud to be an American
2. Appreciate the renewed enthusiasm and optimistic outlook the country has

Here is to hoping that the American Spirit is strong enough to withstand the current climate and steady enough to see it through!

Where do I begin?

O.K. It has come to my attention that all the "cool" photographers have their own Blogs and without one, I am doomed to wallow in the depths of cheesy photogs with disposable cameras never making it in this crazy business. So, without further ado... I introduce my Blog.

Um... I don't really know why I am suppose to Blog or what I am suppose to say... I will begin with basics.

I am the world's worst typist (in fact I just had to retype this sentence 3 times) so PLEASE don't kill me with e mails telling me my spelling stinks or how dangled a participle! Chances are I wrote this with a Princess movie going and a 1.5 year old climbing me yelling "Upa Upa!"
